Church of the Cross is a spiritual community of openness, hospitality, learning and care for others in the Spirit of Jesus, with a Lutheran emphasis on grace – meaning how “God so loves the  world” and how that frees us to do the same. Jesus’ invitation is for everyone – Come and see!

At the crossroads …
Wisdom prepares a feast, sets her table, and invites all to come and eat her bread and drink her wine. Christ, the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 1:24), invites us to eat his flesh and drink his blood.  Jesus’ words are an invitation to the meal of bread and wine we share. Come to the table. Welcome all!

Welcome All!

We gather on the traditional territory of the Lkwungen people, and the Songees, Esquimalt and Wsanec peoples
whose historical relationships to this land continue to this day.
