Church of the Cross is a spiritual community of openness, hospitality, learning and care for others in the Spirit of Jesus, with a Lutheran emphasis on grace – meaning how “God so loves the world” and how that frees us to do the same. Jesus’ invitation is for everyone – Come and see!
Nineteenth Sunday of Pentecost – September 25th – 10 AM
Join us for Worship with Holy Communion. All are welcome!
At the crossroads…
with Jerusalem under attack, Jeremiah buys a piece of property trusting that one day “Houses, fields & vineyards shall again be bought in this land.” Jesus tells a story of a rich & a poor person and the great reversal of fortunes between this life and the next. Is Jesus calling for Jeremiah-like acts of hope in this life? Welcome God’s hope and faith in humanity. Welcome All!
