Church of the Cross is a spiritual community of openness, hospitality, learning and care for others in the Spirit of Jesus, with a Lutheran emphasis on grace – meaning how “God so loves the  world” and how that frees us to do the same. Jesus’ invitation is for everyone – Come and see!

At the crossroads…

we explore Jesus’ first miracle in the Gospel of John and the mystery of God’s abundance. So often we get trapped in a spiral of scarcity thinking, whether at church, at work, at school, or in our households. Jesus challenges us through his self-giving action to imagine the ways in which God provides for us in unexpected ways. Welcome to God’s banquet of abundance. Welcome all!

Welcome All!

We gather on the traditional territory of the Lkwungen people, and the Songees, Esquimalt and Wsanec peoples
whose historical relationships to this land continue to this day.
