Lyndon Sayers (he/him)

Lyndon joined Church of the Cross as co-pastor in January 2019. He thrives doing ministry at the intersection of the gospel and social justice. Having served a first call to a Lutheran church in Virginia, Lyndon is excited to bring gifts in community organizing to bear in greater Victoria and Canadian context. 

Led by faith, Lyndon trusts that by taking up space together with queer folks and people of colour, including Indigenous neighbours, we lift everyone’s boats, and build stronger communities. 

As part of his duties Lyndon serves as part-time Lutheran co-chaplain at Multifath Services, University of Victoria, reaching out to students and staff. He also serves as Church of the Cross’ board member with Shelbourne Community Kitchen and is building bridges with young adults, families, youth, and the wider community.
